IMPORTANT THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW!
Pre-Registration:Pre-registration is on-going throughout the summer.All students are to have updated registration information on file for the upcoming school year.
New Student Registration:If your child/children are registering at Ashburn Community Elementary School for the first time the following information is need to complete the registration process.
*Student Transfer Papers*Student Social Security No.
*Original Birth Certificate*Certificate of Health Examination
*Proof of Current Address – See above for acceptable proof of address.
*Copy of Special Education Records (if applicable)
Student Fees:Student fees are $40.00 per child. There is a discounted fee if there are 3 or more children attending Ashburn. Fees are used to purchased consumable workbooks and other materials.
Technology Fee: Technology fees are $15.00 per child, to pay for the student response card system.
Atheletic Fee: The atheletic fee is $20.00 per child, per sport. This fee is used to pay for bus transportation to and from all sporting competions/events. Additional fees may apply depending on the sport your student wishes to participate in.
First Day of School:September 8, 2010 at 8:55 a.m.
Uniforms: Kindergarten – 8th – Khaki Bottoms (pants, skirts, skorts, or knee-length shorts) and White Tops (tops must have collars) Shoes (black or brown)
*Pants are to be worn with a belt and shirt tucked in.
*Gym Shoes may only be worn on gym days.
Gym Uniforms:Gym uniforms consist of black bottoms (shorts or sweat pants), orange tops (t-shirts or sweat shirts), and gym shoes.Gym uniforms are available for purchase at:

Medical: Physical exams forms must be completed prior to the first day of school for all Kindergarteners and 5th graders.Students not in compliance may be excluded from classes until all medical forms are turned in.
Dental Exams:New this year - Dental forms must be completed for grades Kindergarten, 2nd, and 6th
